You get a Korean name on day one. Classes, meals, cooking, team projects and the evening routine all run in Korean.
One day at Ari Hakdang
Mornings are serious study. Afternoons turn what you learned into something you made. Evenings are for catching up and practising.

We don't run a language academy.
We design four weeks of living in Korean.
Ari Hakdang means "the Ari school house". Ari is an old Korean word for water and for river — something that flows, and carries. A classroom gives you words. Four weeks of eating, cooking, arguing, presenting and laughing in Korean gives you the language.
The first camp is deliberately small: 24 students, 3 classes, 3 Korean teachers, one manager and two resident staff. We would rather run one group properly and publish honestly what happened than fill a hall.
