Terms and refund policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to this website and to the Batch 1 application form. By submitting the form you accept them.
Company registration is in progress. Once it is issued, the registered company name, number and address will appear here and in the site footer.
2. An application is not an enrolment
Submitting the application form does not create a contract and does not reserve a seat. You do not pay anything at this stage.
After you apply, a coordinator contacts you and we hold a short consultation. Enrolment is confirmed only when you receive and accept a separate written agreement and complete the payment set out in it.
3. Who can apply
The programme is for adults aged 18 and over. You are responsible for making sure you are able to travel to and stay in the Philippines for the programme dates.
4. Prices and what they include
The price for each room type is published on the programme page. It covers tuition, accommodation and board for the four weeks, and the programme activities listed on that page.
The following are not included:
Prices are in US dollars. Bank transfer charges and currency conversion costs are yours.
- ·The local fee of $200, paid on arrival
- ·International flights to and from the Philippines
- ·Government fees for the student permit (SSP)
- ·Travel and medical insurance
- ·Personal spending and optional weekend outings
5. Early bird discount
The early bird discount applies to applications received before the published deadline and later confirmed by enrolment. It is calculated on tuition. It cannot be combined with other discounts and has no cash value.
6. Student permit (SSP)
Studying in the Philippines requires a Special Study Permit (SSP). The paperwork is arranged through a partner institution accredited by the Bureau of Immigration, and we guide you through the procedure after enrolment.
Government SSP fees are paid to the authorities and are not included in the programme price.
Immigration decisions are made by the Philippine authorities, not by us. We cannot guarantee that a permit will be issued. If a permit is refused for reasons that are not your fault, the refund rule below applies.
7. Payment
Payment terms, any instalments, and the deadline are set out in the written agreement you receive at enrolment. A seat is held only once the agreed payment has been received.
8. If you cancel
Refunds are calculated on the amount you have actually paid us, against the number of days remaining before the start date:
The administrative fee covers application handling, consultation and document preparation, which are incurred whether or not you attend.
Government SSP fees already paid to the authorities cannot be refunded by us.
| 60 days or more before the start date | 100% minus a $100 administrative fee |
| 30–59 days before the start date | 70% |
| 15–29 days before the start date | 50% |
| 14 days or fewer before the start date, or after it has begun | 0% |
9. If your permit is refused, or if we cancel
In either case our responsibility is limited to that refund. We do not reimburse flights, insurance or other arrangements you made yourself, which is why we ask you not to book flights before your enrolment is confirmed.
- ·If your student permit is refused for reasons outside your control, and you send us a copy of the refusal, we refund in full what you paid us.
- ·If we cancel or postpone the batch — including because the minimum enrolment is not reached — we refund in full what you paid us. You may instead move your place to the next batch.
10. Changes to the programme
The curriculum, timetable, teaching staff, weekend activities and accommodation building may change where necessary. We will tell you about significant changes as early as we can. Changes of this kind do not by themselves create a right to a refund beyond the rules above.
11. Conduct
Participants are expected to follow the house rules of the accommodation and the law of the Philippines. We may end a participant's place without refund in cases of serious or repeated breaches, in particular where the safety of others is affected.
12. Insurance and responsibility
Travel and medical insurance covering your stay is your responsibility, and we may ask for proof of it before arrival. We are not responsible for loss, injury or damage arising from causes outside our reasonable control.
13. Governing law
The governing law and the competent courts will be stated here once the operating company is registered. Until then, nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
