What is Ari Hakdang?+
Ari Hakdang is a place to learn Korea through Korean-language immersion. We connect structured Korean-language education with culture and everyday life.
What programs do you offer?+
We run short-term residential camps and are preparing other kinds of immersion programs. Duration, location, level, and cultural theme may vary by program.
Who teaches the camp classes?+
At every camp, certified Korean-language teachers run the classes and the curriculum.
Is every camp the same?+
No. Camps may run for 4, 8, or 12 weeks or other lengths, and the detailed curriculum and cultural program theme may differ from camp to camp.
Are the camps residential?+
Short-term camps are residential immersion programs where participants stay, eat, learn, and take part in activities together. For other types of programs, each guide clearly states how the program is run.
What currency do you charge in?+
Fees are set in Korean won (KRW), and you can also pay in US dollars (USD) at the time of payment. We plan to add more payment currencies over time.
When and where are camps held?+
Camps of various lengths and themes are being prepared at several locations. Subscribe to updates to be the first to hear about new camps.
How do I enroll?+
You can enroll directly through this website or through an official agency in your country.
How do I hear about new programs?+
Subscribe to updates on the Community page. We will send news about new camps and Ari Hakdang to the email address you provide.
What information do I need to join as a member?+
Just two things: an email address and a nickname. We do not ask for any information that identifies you personally when you create a community account.
How do I submit an inquiry?+
After joining, sign in with the secure link sent to your email and you can post on the private inquiry board.
Where can I find the details of a specific camp?+
The Apply page lists the schedule, fees, early-bird terms, eligibility, and camp-specific questions for the program currently open for enrollment.
