I don't know any Korean at all. Can I still come?+
Yes. We accept complete beginners — you don't even need to read Hangul. There is a short self-assessment in the application, and a placement interview and written test on day one. You are then placed into one of three levels.
What about the visa and the study permit?+
Classes run under an agreement with a partner institution accredited by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration. Students need a Special Study Permit (SSP); the partner institution explains and supports the procedure. Government SSP fees are not included in the package price, and no one can guarantee the outcome of an immigration decision — anyone who promises you that is not being honest with you.
Are flights included?+
No. International flights are not included. Once your start date is confirmed we will tell you the nearest airport and typical routes so you can compare fares yourself.
Do I have to pay now?+
No. For Batch 1 this page collects applications only. A coordinator contacts you afterwards, and payment details come later in a separate email once enrolment is confirmed.
What is the refund policy?+
Refund tiers depend on how far before the start date you cancel. The full schedule is in our Terms & refunds page, and it is sent to you in writing before any payment is requested.
What is the accommodation like?+
A dormitory at the partner campus, with three room types: 4-bed, 2-bed and single. Three meals a day are included. Two resident staff live on site.
Are the teachers Korean?+
Yes. Three Korean teachers take the morning classes, supported by an operations manager and two local resident staff.
What do I take away at the end?+
Four weeks of daily Korean with Korean teachers, a team project you build and film, and a final showcase you present yourself. The exact form of any completion document is still being settled with our partner institution, so we are not promising one yet. We do not run official TOPIK examinations.
Is it safe for a woman travelling alone?+
Two resident staff are on site, the camp is residential, and there are check-in/check-out rules for going out. Weekend outings are always accompanied. If you have specific concerns, write them in the form and we will answer them directly.
Can I use my phone and the internet?+
Yes. There are some phone-light periods during class blocks to protect immersion, but you are not cut off. We will advise you on getting a local SIM on arrival.
